I finished my wall finally in my 4 door honda accord.

Here is the box for the wall:

Its double baffled on the front (not shown in pic)

It turned out horrible. Looks cool, but its not near as loud as it was when they were in the trunk, by ear or on the meter. I dropped about 3.5 dbs goin from the trunk box to the wall.

Does anyone see anything wrong with that box?

This is for two 2005 15" L5s powered by a Kicker KX2500.

So I'm wanting to do a rebuild but this time I want to make sure I do it right. This will be not only for a SPL setup but a daily driver as well, so there will have to be a port plug to lower the tuning for daily.

Help is GREATLY appreciated.

How about bracing? Also you may want to check the wiring make sure that the subs aren't out of phase with each other. I had that problem with my first wall. Thought it was the box then turned out I wired a sub out of phase. dam 3am wiring job.

I was wondering about the flex myself. My new box has three layers of mdf all the way around, plus a layer of bondo over that, then comes the fiberglass resin, and a threaded rod right through the middle. Flex kills. . . .

I am pretty positive its not the wiring. The subs have been takin out many many times to change stuff to the box and I triple check my wiring each time before screwing the subs in.

Nothin look wrong with that box design?

So could someone design me a new box? We might need a few people to discuss some ideas for it since it prolly will be a little difficult.

I was hoping to have it tuned to 35 for daily then up around 50 for comp. I figure that would be best for the subs, but I could be wrong. Thats where you guys come in that have more experience than me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Need to discuss box size for a daily/SPL setup, port area, port placement (port in middle, port on driver side, passenger side, or 2 ports?), etc

The dimensions on my current box is about all the room I got. Might could go 2" taller. But thats about it.

edit: went and measured and could prolly go about 2 inches deeper as well.

So I guess my max dimensions would be: 42" wide X 34" tall X 21.25" deep + 3/4" double baffle on the front

Also would like some tips for when I do a rebuild on best ways to seal everything and keep everything from flexin. I used 2 inches screws, gorilla glue, and silicone with this box. Any suggestions?
