What's wrong with RE

Anyone know why RE would not be answering e-mails? I e-mailed their tech support address about a week ago and have not heard anything.

hmmm i know it takes them a long time to answer their e-mail buit ist usually like 3 days or so. did you try calling them? that usually works out a lot better.

You'd have a better chance calling them to get answers. They have always been slow answering emails.

For e-mail answers, expect about 2 weeks for a reply......atleast that's what it's always been for me.

Call them. It's easier to help someone when you deal directly with them.

even callling can take a few tries... but they do indeed return emails eventually...

I read they (RE) receive over 300 emails a day. That would explain why the phone is a better route.

True, but than the prices go up. I don't mind waiting a little for the kinds of prices they have for what you get. Just my opinion.

I have never had a problem getting them on the phone and they do a good job when you get them. Make sure it is during their OPEN hours as they run a different schedule.

I mean, I love RE and all, and I'm not bashing, but look at David's aim profile. Links to **** and a demand for paypal money to answer questions. Sounds to me like they are overloaded as all hell and need to expand a bit. I'm not a huge fan of the lemonparty link, didn't know what it was till I clicked it, and I wish I never had.

no they aren't.. you guys always seem to forget that....

RE IS A DEALER SUPPORTING COMPANY

they have an extensive... lemme repeat that one more time.. extensive dealer network that they focus on..... they can't afford to staff a computer all day to answer 450 emails a day, that yield maybe 10 sales..

david tries to answer as many emails as time allows.. most of the emails are "what could ________ hit" or "what size box does ______________ go in"

and the new winner currently.. "how many watts is the MT rated for"

if you're serious about ordering something. .. call.... email is what I'd consider a last resort...

somebody sticky this reply... I'm sure this won't be the last post on the subject... lol

to sum it up again... RE didn't build itself to rely on internet sales, unlike certain other companies.. RE does have a phone, and they will answer it, unless you call at 3 am or call on a Sunday....
