HEY BUD... I HAVE ONE 10W7 IN A SEALED ENCLOSURE POWERED BY A 500/1 JL AUDIO AMP... I HAVE ANOTHER 10W7 AND 500/1 JUST SITTIN IN MY ROOM WAITIN ON ME TO BUILD MY BOX LOL... ANYWAYZ... BACK TO THE STORY... JL RECOMMENDS 1.25 CU FT FOR A SEALED ENCLOSURE... UR BOX IS PORTED... 1.5 SOUNDS A BIT SMALL... AS STATED ABOVE... ALSO GETTIN THE 500/1 WILL MAKE QUITE A BIT OF IMPROVEMENT AS WELL... I HAS A "980.2" POWER AKOUSTIC AMP RUNNING TO THE W7 B4 I GOT THE 500/1... THE 500 MADE A TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE IN SQ AND SPL. SO IF I WERE U... IF U LIKE THE PORTED SOUND, PERHAPS TRY THE JL HO BOX. OR BUILD ANOTHER TO THE JL SPECS... AND TRY GETTIN A 500/1 AS WELL... OR IF YA GOT THE CASH A 1000/1... 500/1 may not be the most powerful but its was is recommended for the 10w7... im not arguing, just a thought

ps- i didnt think the power always mattered...? im learning... but if im not mistaken watts arent always a factor in sound... well... the only factor i should say...?
