i agree with squeak...i'd either do the id or the mtx 8000. i like the mtx subs alot.

also check into memphis pr's...great subs for the money and they get loud and sound good, especially with lower power amps...like 300 wrms per sub.

Diamonds cm3 are quite good sounding woofers with anywhere from 350-500 watts, and tuned low in a ported enclosure have mid level spl for a 10 imo. slightly under your budget also.
