Whats wrong with my sub?

Ok so my sub has been working great for me but then I started to notice a little bit of a rattle on certain notes. The rattle has gotten worse and in about 3 days its real bad and i dont want to hurt it so i shut it off. I took the sub out and theres no tensil rub, no smells or smoke just this rattling sound coming from it. Anyone know what might be wrong?

A 'rattle' at certain freqs makes me think your box may have a leak.

or i had a problem with my spider detaching from the cone, which made a rattling crap sound
