Whats wrong with my amp

i have a d3 600.1 and for some reason it stop working. i had only used it once to test it out and it work fine. yesterday we were trying to install it in my friends car but it dident want to work. it power one and everything but it makes a weird noise and the subs barley move when you mess around with the low and high pass filters. any ideas what can be wrong.

it sound like a hum. we know its the amp not the connections because we hooked it up to my car where i have the same amp and it still did the same thing.

not to sound like a smart *** but you got rca's hooked up to it?

if so check those out to make sure they are good

yeah i have rca's hook up to it. like i said its not the connections because i hooked it up to my car where my amp works.

no its not the ground as i said before its not the connections.
