hello people, past few weeks my amp has been cutting off and wont play at all. i have my amp tuned up right and checked my wiring and ground is perfect. noting is wrong with my sub woofer also. i notice the fuse that runs through the positive wire has water stuck on the clear casing and one end of the fuse is very little rust and some brown stuff in the inside and everything else is perfect the pin is not broken at all. i believe the amp doesnt overheat all. when the volume is up the power light goes off and the protection is off also. the hifonics logo is dims down a lot. sometimes get it working when i use a multi meter and it creates a spark and the amp turns on(which is really weird). after a while it cuts off(completely turns off no green or red light) for 2 second and then turns on again. again after a while it completely shuts off for couple of days if i am lucky ill be able to get it on by using the multimeter. last time it turned on i measured the voltage and it read 11.86v. what is wrong with my amp? i have hifonics hfi 1000.1d and one alpine type r 15. thank you

1. remove and clean the fuse. Use light sand paper. get it shiny. check the fuse and replace it if in doubt.

2. remove and clean the positive and negative battery terminals with a terminal cleaner.

3. double check all power and ground connections again. actually remove each connection point, check wires for corrosion then re-connect and re-tighen them.

3. check your remote turn-on wire connetions. what is voltage on it.

4. if still doesn't work, then remove the sub wire from amp output and tell us if amp stays on.

Did you say that there is water in the fuse holder, and that you are still trying to play your system? Then wondering why it doesn't operate properly? Please turn off everything, and then, do what was stated before. But do NOT run it until you trouble shoot the entire path of connections. Audiobaun, your sig sytem looks like it sounds badazz, I got a lil jelly and turned on just from reading it...lol, but yeah.
