Currently i own a 2000 gmc sierra 5.3l v8 with a 130-140 amp alt (forgot which one sorry).

I am trying to save money on electrical if possible to go more into the subs and components.

What is the best possible setup or whats capable of doing that many watts?

I currently am looking at a DC power 270 amp xp h/o alt and yellow optima battery. Then maybe some smaller batterys in the cab to help voltage.

Can a regular alt like mine + yellow optima + more smaller batterys hold a 3000+ watt system?
