I'm sure none of team phat hertz is actually hating on RE because i do believe tommyk still runs a 10 seXXX for a dilay driver if i do believe....

They are just basing their opinions on real world testing that all of the members of the team have done, no more no less.... If the type R's weren't better than SX's why would someone run them who had done extensive testing with both.... be serious....

Give me 24 of ANYTHING and i'll make em loud. Quality > quantity. I saw the car at dB drag finals, now while impressive, similar scores could be done with less equipment and a properly setup ported box. RE has a way better lineup of subs capared to alpine... someone figured out how to make an alpine TYPE R loud so now they say RE sucks... yay for alpine for finally making a good sub and selling it for cheap... but saying the company RE sucks and APLINE is good just isnt correct at all

Your not defending the R itself, but defending that you can actually learn something from testing.

People act like if its louder in tommy's/tobias'/my car... it wont be louder in *any* other install. But geeze, even if the woofers were COMPARABLE, the type R is half the price...

none of us did dbdrag... we were the only guys running R's.

Out of the 3 people running type R's at MECA finals, everyone placed top 3... and I won both SPL and reality.

If I would have done SM 1-2... I would have placed at least 6th, without changing anything other than the coils and running one battery under the hood.

Could I have been louder with 2 15's? yup...

The R's are proven woofers, live with it.
