nope, impossible... actual testing of the amp in a daily situation means 0.

wired way down burping at high voltage... might be another story.

Nobody "hates" on RE, they have their place just like any other company.

Some people have just discovered that something works better for them that just so happens to be cheaper.

Is that going to hold true for everyone? No. But some people are willing to try new things rather than base their decisions on what a few people on an online forum said about a sub that they have no experience with.

I totally agree. However there's 2 certain individuals out there, whom I won't name, who think nothing less of me....or my set up. My feeling is this: so what. I know what works, as you said, and what sounds good or not. I'll let my ears determine that...

Then go ahead and never bother posting your SPL score ever again.....since it doesn't mean much to you.

Rather, "what sounds good" does....
