Whats VA coming to?

Just tonight on the 10 o'clock news, reporters claim that Virginia Law Makers are in the process of getting a law passed. This law is going to prohibit and make illegal stereo systems that can be heard @ 50 ft or more!! I would like to know what everyone else thinks about this. IMHO I think it's total BS, My stock stereo could be heard from more than 50 ft.!! Does this mean there will be no more Comps in VA!!

Hate to say it, but usually when a town / state / province does that, it's due to the fact that too many people are abusing the current law and people are getting right pissed off about it.

If people were responsible with their systems in the first place, this would not be an issue.

Those that are not responsible are simply idiots on ego trips who feel their genitalia is somehow enhanced by their loud and obnoxious systems. Weather it be fines, impoundmnet, or the continuing shunning of their more responsible peers; they deserve every bit of what is coming to them.

It's the degenerate Hip Hop crowd that has no respect for others that is causing the problem. They seem to get great joy from imposing their music on others who are just trying to have a peaceful time in the city.. I went to Providence awhile back and couldn't believe all the Puerto Rican music I had to suffer through at loud volumes. You could hear them coming from 2 blocks away.. I like to play my stereo loud but I'm respectful of other people who really don't want to hear my music... Considerate people don't need laws to tell them not to act like a total *** but not all people are considerate..

yeah this law has been around for a while in many different locations, but yes VA is getting a little crazy with their system. the crazy highway patrol is bad enough, but its IMO the closet state to merry ole' england in the way its run

playing at night drives the piss out of me. my neighbor insists on playing his at 1 am when i am slepping because i have to go to work at 4:30 am. his 2 12's by the way are not near as loud as my one 12 because he's an idiot. sometimes the laws get too strict. if you are driving down a main road and not down residental streets you should be able to play it loud. i don't play mine around my neighborhood because i don't want people to know i have it. plus it makes me want to steal my neighbors system because i don't want to hear it at night. but anyways i'm just rambling on so i'll stop now

Hey peeps this isn't a pissin match calm down little ones!! I just wanted to know what this could lead to. What can they do, tow your sh*t, fine you, possibly jail? Will we not be able to pass inspection or emmissions? Input please, No pissin on others comments!! We can all have our own opinions, they just might not be the wisest!!
