I have a big dog because I like a dog that can scare someone, that and they seem to always be more mellow than the small breeds

My wife and small child are at home alone when I work at night, its my country security alarm/deterrant

Looks like a bichon. I've got one of those. He's a pretty good dog. He's not too yappy. I'd say he's got more of a personality like a larger dog, especially in his old age; he's 13 now. I've also got an all white Alaskan Husky with blue eyes. She's about a year old now. Other than the shedding, she's a badass dog.

mini pinscher are much better than other small dogs, i want to get a pug some day though.

pugs are loud, and leak mucous, they snore when sleeping, sounds like they are suffocating most of the time

but very "clever" and amusing to have around

Mine herds cows, yapping and biting at ankles the whole time, it also thinks its the alpha male in the house, still hasnt learned any different after 3 years
