No worries, I understood completely.
I was agreeing with you and trying to explain WHY. Unlike many companies in this industry we make sure our products are 100% before we release, instead of making revisions every year or making up stories about why something failed and having to do damage control. All this does is damage our company's image and tarnish our reputation for quality.

I don't blame you. No one will really care if in the end if a product comes out in the Spring or the Fall. It's not like people have already paid for the product.

first, before i get started... i've been using id gear for a long time. love their products. back in the day just about every forum raved about the chameleons, cd1's, idq's, and idmax's. at that time they were new products and everybody was using them. the xs line has been out for a while now ans you don't see too many people posting threads about them. not saying the new line sux, it's just nobody seems to be buying them up like the older line. y'all need to invest more on advertising and you sure as hell need to speed things up

You've been on our forum and on here knocking us for our delay in getting the XS8 out to market. Wouldn't you be really upset if you spent several hunred dollars on a product that sounded bad. Then told a few weeks later that we needed to make some revisions and it sounds better now.

Or is it better to be patient and wait for something to be awesome and correct before you blow your wad on it.

the grunt for id that's a good one.. figured i'd be the grunt for id in here. how many ppl read about the problems people are having with the RF 360.2 specifically on the bluetooth... seems to me they knew it had a problem yet still released it and now look what's happening. customer after customer having to send it in for "upgrades" new "firmware" then when they get it back a lil bit later same thing. if your really that impatient for the x8 then don't wait no more get an ID8 or some other brand, but just because they want to get things right instead of rushing products out to the market just to make a quick buck and makeing the end user suffer for a bad product doesn't make ID any less of a company, hell i think it makes them more of a company..

there's been lots of posts about the xs line especially the 6x9s i myself run the 6.5s and i love them perhaps your reading the wrong forums? try diyma. as for buying up the older line it's also probably because of the price. and the ctx65cs have been getting great reviews for the price and seems a lot of ppl are buying those because of that. Advertising is something that a company spends on what they feel they need to spend, i mean you go to any forum and mention ID 9/10 will know what your talking about, it's called word of mouth the best advertising there is out there. as for speeding things up i see no need to rush perfection.
