hey, i just started reading up on this forum. i've noticed that when people refer to their sub box they tend to describe it as "tuned to XX hz." i know that the hz part is a low frequency but what exactly does it mean? that the box is designed to put out that certain frequency THE MOST? someone please explain in detail what this means as i will need to know when it comes time to build my box for a IDmax 12". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

just pay someone to design a box for u, its a whole lot easier. my IDMAX is tuned to 30hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

^same u shouldnt worry about exactly how all those calculations work unless u want to make ur head asplode. Just pay some one like Jmac NGSM13 or sumthin do do the design for you. For regular use the tuning usually goes from 28-34hz. Anything higher would probably be used for competitions.
