I say pass it on to someone else who is willing to deal with the problems. I'm in the process of moving to a new house right now, and you should see the amount of unused, old-school gear that was just given away to various family members. I'm still finding things that I totally forgot about!
Cool for nostalgia. If someone could pick it up cheap and fix it it would be a good amp. I'd do eBay. US buyers will pay for shipping if they care, or you may find another Canadian that'll bite.
