X is more for comp. but can still be used for daily use to my knowledge. But the x is the best 1

i would do l7's there the 8's or 10's in an array sound awesome the biggr subs can sound really nice too as long as you build the right sized box

SoloX is strictly for SPL, the L7 still is more SPL than SQ but has a little of it, id say the L7 due to 40/60 SQ|SPL

they dont sound as bad as many people make them out to be. it is really dependant on the box and the whole setup for that matter.

no i have an L7 in a sealed box and i like the sq out of it and when i want it loud it gets loud i built the box striaght from the messurements from kickers catologe

The sealed L7's i've heard sound good when setup for SQ. A SPL ported L7 isn't gonna sound great for SQ though.

i wouldnt say strickly and i would drastically say your sq to spl ratio would be alot different on different enclosures. ALOT of SQL subs i have heard are TERRIBLY mechanical sounding and if ported wrong and or set up wrong sound REALLY muddy. be it re, kicker or adire.

Just to add a little fuel to the fire-

THOSE SUBS ****, THEH HAVE NO SQ OR SPL MY PYLE WILL SPANK EM.

The technical term for this folks is "trolling", saying somthing just to piss people off and get them arguing. There is a divide on the topic of kicker woofers that is argued endlessly like a religious crusade, Shhhhhh...just watch..

kicker subs can have amazing SQ if installed correctly. they can also be on the flipside, sound terrible and be super loud.

the soloX series can sound amazing, and also - they can be installed in a super large ported box and sound like crap.

kicker sells quality stuff - period. all you gotta do is install it correctly.

My L7s sound really good and still get loud, its almost as good as my dads SQ setup (a long shot lol)
