Cabin drop FTW.Its all dependent on your vehicle.
Example, I tuned a few boxes too 40hz in my Explorer and it was no audible difference on the low notes from a couple I did at 32 or 35hz, but the low tuned ones did lack on upper end.
Did you design the horn yourself or did you just find the design somewhere, those are really interesting, I would love to know how those are calculated up.
I pretty much copied thummpers horn. Knowing outside sizes and guessing port width I made my own.Just look at Thummpers 2 10 horn think.
It does 145s legal at 22hz.
But I'd like to see what it does on 40hz to 55hz

how does speaker size determine tuning in your mind? i gotta hear the all elusive answer to this lolz.30hz, since it is a 15
I DID THIS!!!! About 5 months ago for a ht setup. used my old kenwood tornado cone 10". WAS SO AMAZING! hit some really low notes! REALLY LOW! until i blew the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifGetting super low is fun, body panels = waves in the ocean lol.
I've always wanted to build like a box tuned to 20 Hz and try it just for the lolz. I wan't it to sound like an earthquake rumble. It'd be barely audible and would **** in the rest of the sound range, but it would be hella cool to show off.
Please for the love of the gods of electricity, you did not just misspell Tesla.6 sided sealed box. Leave the subs at home. That would be safest.
Testla did not choose the safest frequency.
