Whats the "best" spyware / adware remover

me personally i use zone alarm pro security suite, and nod 32 anti virus. its worked so far. i really liked norton but it used up too much of my resources

Spy Sweeper and Spyware Doctor seem to get the best reviews ...
Personally, I use AdAware personal (free) + Spybot (free) + Google (free) to clean others computers and it works ... spybot search & destroy, its free google it. make sure you update it often and run it every couple days.

Tis the best free virus removal tool/ firewall IMO... I have never had a trojan, worm, virus... then again, i'm not a computer virgin either.

you can also download the AVG anti spyware program, I use the anti spyware program and AVG's anti virus along with adware personal and adwatch and for pop ups i use admuncher, haha i got a lot running but very little if anything gets into my computer, you can get the grisoft(avg) stuff here, do the trial versions and see if you like using it, the trial versions usually last for a month or so, hope this helps---Dinty

Also just get CrapCleaner. Helps with that stuff also.

This will download install and run almost every program that has been mentioned in this thread.

It does everything for you, run it, walk away.

And btw: Spysweeper is the best single program (according to reports, personal accounts, etc., my widow maker at the shop I used to work at)
