Okay the strangest thing happened to my amp a long time ago.

My amp used to go on safe mode alot and when it did i just turned my music down and it started working again. Well one day it was working PERFECTLY, no problems at all, nothing overheating, everything is perfectly bumping...

Okay so i didn't drive all day the next day, and the day after that, i turned on my car...my amp was in safe mode..............AND IT STAYED IN SAFE MODE.........AND CONTINUED TO STAY IN SAFE MODE.....like wtf?

I took it to an audio place and they said that my speakers were getting power and my amp was getting power...it was just in safe mode. He said i needed a new amp and that they have amps on sale.....yeah //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif i definitely left the place.

That was Christmas Eve 2006 and now its May 19th 2007 and my amp is still in safe mode. The CD deck works and it still plays music....just ZERO bass. What the hell do i need to do to get this fixed?

HA !! Man,,, what a wait..... Safe mode?? is this a windows amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif assuming you mean protect?

sounds like you possibly have a grounding problem,, ot your + and - might be making some minimal contact somewhere. Make sure all your connections are secure and seperated properly. I have had this problem before and it was just a couple of threads of wire strand touching opposites.

and you did not think this was probably bad?
lol i knew it was bad...i had up high and it was hot outside.........and i turned it down until it came back on....but its not like a BLASTED it again...i just gradually turned it back up

but yeah i need to check the connections

Do you guys think a fuse has blown out or that it's just my connections.....if its something wrong with the wiring, is it easy to replace?
