Whats the loudest sony xplod setup?

Ive always been wondering, whats the loudest sony xplode subs currently or have you ever actually heard a "loud" sony xplod setup before? I know they are pretty much crappy subs but I actually wanna see someone build a system with sony xplods that actually get loud. People say, its like 90% install and 10% equipment. Anyone have youtube links?

See the problem is anyone who invests into xplods uses prefab sealed boxes and sony amps so chances are there aren't any... Makes me tempted to hit a 150 with xplods or osmething though since you can get 3 12's for $150 online. I should just get 6 of them and throw tons of power to them on burps in a high tuned box haha.

I thought Sony xplod was the best of the best back in the day and at one time they started making these really nice looking amps where the logo lit up blue

i did a 143 and change in a triple 10 sealed box with three red cone sony xplod's @ 1.33 off an american bass d1000 back in around 2002... lol

Local guy had a old style mini truck with 8 15's IIRC doing a 53 or so.

Seen 2 12's on a small boss amp do a 43.

Nothing wrong with cheap sleepers if you ask me! If you can install correctly, you can make cheap stuff sound good.

I put two 12s in a jeep yesterday there alright but they were in a prefab box......I would believe if installed right you could hit 150 with 4+ maybe 6+

As stated above with most people around here who buy Sony explodes are doing it to save money which means they do the install themselves which means the subs are in a prefab box and they have the shitiest wiring money can buy.

As far as loudness goes I think I have a pretty loud one (compared to those of my friends with kickers and mtx etc, in pre fab boxes) I think as the years went on there subs just lost there quality but I have two of the older 12s rated for 350 watts(at least thats what it says on the magnet) in a ported box cant remember what its tuned to and im pushing it at 2 ohm on a crunch pzi 1500.1. with stinger 4 gauge ran to it. Brand new both subs cost was under 100 dollars.

Do I think there the best subs out there? absolutely not. Do I think they are as bad as everyone else makes them out to be? absolutely not
