look how many nutthuggers said anything maxxsonics makes is shit.............

now look at em all dying to get some dsc amps lolz
The Discus amps do rated and they're cheap. That's what the vast majority is looking for. It's a forum boner type of thing, man. They come and go. The DSC will be no different...

True it's really hear say. Ppl go off of what other ppl say instead of experiencing it for themselves. I've used maxxsonics products b4, and I liked them. Never had a problem. But now I just want to try other products.

On the topic of Dynamat, I've had horrible experience with that brand. Never installed it into my ride but helped others. So instead of going that route after experiencing it first hand in other rides, I went with Second Skin. Maybe things have changed with the new Dynamat products, I'll just be bias with this topic.

you can't compare original dynamat to anything other than peel n seal. the xtreme version is just as good as damplifier. i have a car done in each and neither was any harder to do or yielded better results than the other.

Both are great

Dynamat costs a bit more, but great stuff.

My grip with dynamat is it cut the shit outta my hands first time i used.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I didnt know what i was doing:emb:

between second skin and dynamat xtreme ?? any input
I have not read this entire thread yet, so the answer might already be here.

Dynamat Extreme is a great product. Lots of happy customers, and lots of research behind the product they sell

Second Skin is the name of our company and we have a lot of products, but the sound deadeners that compare directly to Dynamat extreme are our Damplifier CLD mats.

Here is how it breaks down:

Dynamat Extreme

4 mil thick foil (silver)

.45 lbs per sq foot

1.67 mm thick (about 66 mils thick or 66/1000 inch)

Damplifier

4 mil thick foil (flat black on visable side)

.45 lbs per sq foot

1.5 mm thick (about 60 mils thick or 60/1000 inch)

Damplifier Pro

6.5 mil thick foil (flat black on visable side)

.62 lbs per sq foot

2.0 mm thick (80 mils thick or 80/1000 inch)

All 3 have a butyl rubber adhesive with high heat rating.

All have a good temper foil with strong alloys.

Hope that helps!
