Whats the difference?

The Pac communicates with the computer system in the truck/car or something. You need that to put in an aftermarket HU in newer vehicles, especially if you want it to pass smog (or so I was told). The other Raptor thing just converts signal.

First off who ever told u that your radio has anything to do with the emissions of your car is a fu*king idiot! You need to stop any form of communications with them.

Now i think I've figured this one out, but someone correct me if im wrong. the PAC is not what im looking for i want to keep my factory HU and my system is not factory amplified that I know of, is the LOC the best option besides a Clean Sweep CL441dsp

it all depends on whether or not you car needs some type of bass restoration. as you turn up the factory deck does it sound like the bass is automatically turned down? if so the re q would be a simple way to restore that with an aftermarket amp.

then i'd shoot for the req it's a simple easy to adjust loc that gets the job done. but i always like to think ahead and try to think wat if you want to add on? then you'd need more channels then the req and i'd suggest something from the AC line.

I had to pull the Alpine out of my sisters Passat and put the factory back in so it would pass CT emissions. Some cars communicate errors and codes through the factory radio
