I beg to differ on some of that. SQ subs are often made very high quality and durable, as are many SPL subs. It just depends on the brand and quality.

I'd say the difference would lie more in flat frequency response, accuracy, mechanical noise, sensitivity, as well as Qes, Qms, and Qtc. Also, probably inductance and impedance curves.
