Whats the deal with people and RE?

YOu can fit a 18" in a reg. cab truck. 8"s just look cool in anything. =). Thats why i may mount some from my ceiling. or under the seats. that would be cool.

this is quite close to the dumbest thing u have EVER said. no way in hell other than a blow through will an 18 get in a reg cab. mounting depth alone is too deep. let alone most 18's need about 7 cubes ported.. bAAAAAHAHAHAHAHHA

take out the passenger seat...you have a nice truck btw. think before u type buddy. I could fit a 15" in my truck right now. If the passenger seat was a inch less in width. I could fit a 18". i could also fit a 5 cu/ft box like it is now. I just didnt want to.

i wouldnt take out my passenger seat just to put a subwoofer in, that defeats the basic point of having a vehicle.

take out the seat..nah...just slide it up(who cares if the passanger is comfortable, at least u still have a passanger..hehe)...have the box run along the rest of the cab wall.....5-7ft^3 is there..u just have to be creative....HOWEVER...why go thru creative when like saywhat? and llyod have said...shallow depth and just sheer numbers will make up for it...five 8's = one 18...and the box is easier to build...unless u do seperate chambers...

Bucket seats, glass the back wall, under seats, center console. You just might be able to get an 18 in there?

i know this cause i've done one...hehe...

1995 full size silverado reg cab, with split buckets(actually the 60/40 thing with the driver getting 60)...put a 15" comp vr in.....there was more then enuff room for a 18....but hoepfully ur passanger is short..hehe

I had a Ranger reg cab, but had to take the seat out, but I had 2 15's in a bandpass box. Was killer only did it for a week was wayyyy to loud to drive like that. I cant imagine you fitn a 18 in a reg cab truck. I was struggling doing 2 12's in my ranger. And I am lookn at doing 3 12's in my reg cab 84 gmc truck. And I dont think its gona happen. Might as well just do a shit load of re8's

I had split 60/40 then i knocked the middle seat out. Thinkin about going to a 15". or ill put a 18" in the 03' explorer sport. I cant decide.

just cut a hole in the back wall and have most of the box sticking out in the bed and cover it with rhino lining or something. thats what i might do to my truck when i get 2 15's.
