Whats the deal with people and RE?

A lot of people in here are gettin RE 8s. Thats what i dont understand. Why dont you just get 10's 12's or 15's. I mean I hear theyre really loud as it is. And I had never heard of them till a few months ago. But almost everyone here wants 8s, and I just dont understand.

Shallow mounting depth, and low cost allows for an array to still have plenty of cone area. RE 8's are a god send for people who want bump in their regular cab trucks.

the RE 8" craze hit passing gear after I did my install...

much higher performance / cuft ratio of any bigger speaker out...

YOu can fit a 18" in a reg. cab truck. 8"s just look cool in anything. =). Thats why i may mount some from my ceiling. or under the seats. that would be cool.
