This amp is on sale at amazon for a super cheap price I've looked up reviews and they seem to be more good than bad.. I'm sure it's overrated but it says RMS at 2 ohm is 2300w.. which is close to your 3k.

i would say better only because they do rated power and the newer hifonics are overrated
