its probably gonna take more power to get the hdcs loud as the sa.s on same power but if you plan on upgrading power yes id go woth the hdcs if ur set on those choices
If you have the capability to run .7/.5 ohm load, run it..Most do not have that option,beginners ect.But if you have the option, ..Why not??Amp is worthy and has been proven, but is your electrical capable without any clipping issues?If it is ..Props to you.I my
Do you have any place I can look this up that proves this? I'm pretty sure HDC's are more efficient at all power levels with their higher fs and stronger motor.
Yeah, I wish I would've, but then I'd REALLY be short on power. I couldn't imagine running 2k to one. They did pretty well on 1k. I don't think I'd personally ever run more than 1500 to a single copper coil. I could see 2k to the aluminums though, but I don't overpower stuff like a lot of ppl on here do.

I figured it would suffice, especially wired at .7 ohms. The question was not really about whether the amp was sufficient, but what subs would be louder/better for my listening habits.
yea i ran 12-1500 on mine so yea 2200 is barely enough for 2 like i said
if u plan on upgrading jus go with the hdcs
