Whats the best option?

Alright so is it really worth the extra few bucks to get another 2 12's over just 1? I was wondering what I should get and this is what its come down too.

Option 1;

1 12' alpine type r

750 watt kicker amp

JVC KD-R300 headunit

TOTAL AFTER INSTALL: 750

Option 2;

2 12' alpine type r

1200 watt hifonics amp

JVC KD-R300 head unit

TOTAL AFTER INSTALL: 850

1 opposed to two yes is a pretty big difference? those arent to expensive either. make sure if you have 1 amp its 1 ohm stable and subs are 4 ohm subs

Alright sounds good. Also.. do I need to buy a capacitor or anything else? since I will be getting it professionally installed I want to make sure I have everything needed

Like rev said, 2 12's if you have the room. You should be able to do a nice ported box with those R's in a Neon. I had a 4 cubic plus box in my Cavalier with my R's.

get 2 12s but install it yourself. it will make it alot cheaper. you dont need a capacitor, just do the big 3 upgrade

Had 2 12" Kicker Cvx's in my 2003 Neon in a ported box and fit fine.
