whats the best free cd burning program wit cd text

Make sure the file is actually tagged with the file information. When mines wasn't, it wasn't reading specific text like Artist, Song Name, etc.

well thats if the cd text doesnt show. but his problem is it wont let him check mark the cd text box which is whats strange

I have thought about linux, but never researched it much......how difficult is it to learn, and can I dual install it without it's own partition?

Try Burrrn. Use it to burn my .FLAC files. Does the job.

And a though on why iTunes dosent let you check the box, did you burn cd's with text before you restored your computer or is this your first time trying it? Not all CD-R drives can do CD Text. If you did before, maybe you need to upgrade the driver and or firmware for your CD-R drive.
