yea windows media player doesnt have cd text

i use burn4free...never given me any probs...you can get it on download.com...does mp3, iso wma or whatever...

i believe so...its got a bunch of different stuff on it...but if you burn it as an mp3 then it adds text automatically and you can edit it as well.

I haven't been able to do regular cd's with itunes, but mp3's yes

you can do regular CDs on itunes. you have to create a playlist and burn. also check your preferences

I dont know what to tell you dude. I will check on my PC later today to see if its the same. Im pretty sure I have burnt a cd on my PC using iTunes and it allowed CD text. strange

edit: i see you have a matshita drive, are you using bootcamp by any chance? use the Mac side and see

no but ill check on that...this is a temp drive till I get my better one back...it is slow as balls

Make sure the file is actually tagged with the file information. When mines wasn't, it wasn't reading specific text like Artist, Song Name, etc.
