Some decent well amped front speakers can get quite loud.

i think i may be going with the focals, 229.99

and focals in the rear if i decide to not put the subs back in.

I have heard the Phoenix Gold RSD components are very good for the price point (also supose to have very good mid bass). I would probably try those if I was looking to spend $100.
