I know a very little bit about this car audio thing, but to come and ask what an ohm is, while refering to your system of an 18" soloX... without any knowledge of whether there is a difference between a ported and sealed box... is just silly. Spend 1500 on 2 Kicker ZX2500.1s from BestBuy and blow your 18 because you turned the gains up too loud.

I was talking to someone else about running an additional High Output Alternator so that I can Isolate it from my other battery/electrical system.
