What's so wrong about mounting amp on sub box?

I KEPT blowing my DD z2lv amp over and over because of this issue. The backs on those amps would literally vibrate off because the screws would back out. My box is fully resined and reinforced with threaded rod. It has very minimal flex. I ended up putting gorilla tape over those screws etc just to make sure that panel stayed on. I also use rubber washers on both sides of the amp mount. This way the screw doesn't transfer the vibration to the amp either. This makes the amp sort of hover away from the box and has lots of shock absorbtion. Since them I haven't blown any of my amps.

Edit: The components in an amp that have any weight and will vibrate off are epoxied down. The other components such as transistors are screwed down. The board is screwed to a big piece of aluminum so it's not like it's in there flexing. THAT is why there was so much misinformation. The back fell off of my amps and shorted components within the amp itself. LOL that will do it every time. It sounds like a shotgun just went off in the car.

There are a few amps out there that are known to have issues with this. However, any vibration that your amp is subject will not damage it unless as ecrack said, things fall off and BOOM....

While at AQ we tested this theory in massive lengths which each amp. The short answer, unless something comes loose such as screws/bolts, there will be no ill affects from having your amp mounted on your enclosure.

Again, as Ecrack suggested, using rubberized washers or other means of dampening can be done to help reduce that vibration. However, if you have a violent setup(creates a lot of force), you amplifier will be subjective to vibrations regardless.

Well I am not a noob - I am 38 years old and have have a system in every car I have ever owned since I turned 16, thats 22 years for you math challenged.

I would prefer to mount them somewhere else but there is no room.
