I have 2x 15in Apine Type Rs and each are 750 rms but I look at some of these amps and they are just pushing 200 - 400rms for 800 - 2000 watts.... am I missing something? or do they expect me to buy a 3200+ watt for 1 sub to get the 750rms

*excuse my ignorance*

It sounds like you're looking at cheap Walmart budget amps. And what amp will work will also depend on what final impedence you're going to be running those subs at. More info needed...

You probably mean the dual 2 ohm, which means you can realistically wire to either a .5 or 2 ohm load. The Kicker KX1500.1 is a solid amp that does a bit over 1500 watts RMS at 2 ohms and would work well with the Type R's.
