I have a set of last years model infinity kappa perfects 10.1s in a 1 cubic foot per chamber sealed box in my 2006 nissan altima running off a old school (borrowed and cant get the guy to sell me) fosgate punch 800. Well he wants the amp back and i dont have much money to replace it. my budget is around 100 to 130 bucks. i have seen the lanzar vibe276 for 135.00 shipped on ebay. is there any other amp i should consider in this price range? also would it be benificial to change out my box to a ported box? im running a totally stock system besides the amp and subs. any suggestions would be appreciated. also these subs are 4ohms how should i wire them? i am currently running them in stereo. i just found a ma audio 1000 watt monoblock for 130.00 shipped model # m1900xe. is this brand any good and can i run my two 4 ohm 10s off it?

I can't really comment on changing out the box from sealed to ported, but I have an amp I could sell you in your budget, Lookie Here I used this amp to push my Infinity Reference 12's in a sealed box.

If you keep the subs in the seperate sealed enclosures you can use this amp to feed them about 300 each at 4ohm. If your interested let me know, otherwise you can look for something in the range of 700watts rms at 2ohm and wire them together down to 2ohm.

Of the two amps you mentioned I would go for the MA Audio.

I did a little research on that amp and I couldn't find an RMS rating at 2ohm, only listing it as MAX 1000w at 2ohm, and I found this that may interest you, http://www.realmofexcursion.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-10108.html

But as for wiring your subs, wire them up like this

Maybe someone on here has other recommendations, in any case if ya get that amp and wire up the subs like above you will be getting the most from the amp.

You want to keep the wattage down below 350w to each sub.

The older Perfects may claim a high "max" wattage, but they're known to blow if ran above 350w for very long.

Any decent amp that could run at 700w @ 2ohms would be your best bet.

If you get a higher wattage amp just set the gains to no more than 700w and you'll be fine.

any suggestions on a good budget amp for my 10s? i know people ask this all the time but my budget is around 130.00 and not much more at all. ive seen hifonics ma audio and lanzar amps all within my price range but dont which way to go because of the mixed reviews on these brands. any suggestions would be appreciated
