Whats needed?

In the future im looking into a system that's lets say, 2500watts rms, what exactly is needed, electrical wise that is, not the amp or subs, i mean in terms of wiring, will i need another battery? will i need a different alternator?

You will most likely need more than just the battery under the hood and possibly an alt depending on how large your battery bank is.

Depends on your goals. You plan on playing loud music for a long period of time? If so, you need an alternator. If you just plan on doing burps, a decent battery bank should suffice. I will always recommend an alternator for anything 2k or over.
