Check for leaks in the box, or tighten the sub down.

me personally, i would try a sealed enclosure and see if it still does it

it could just be the whole port vibrating or if the leak is bad enough it could make it sound really bad

i repeat my recommendation.....a proper sized sealed enclosure and see if it still happens......

why not switch the 2 subs around in the box and see if the one by the port still does it?

or temporarily cover the port and make it a sealed enclosure...a few screws and some good silicone should do.....then if it's no different just take the seal off
