Alright here's the problem i went back into my trunk to hear my sub play. so i go back there and while the sub is playing it plays kinda like how the lettering (which is a small extrusion from the sub) on a sub is loose or something. if that was a bad explanation look at my sub,

could it be the amp? i have it set at roughly at 43V (if i used the gain setting tutorial supposed to be like 32 (sqt(500/2)) or something) but i used an oscope to set my gains using a 50hz test tone. so then i actually saw the clipping on the oscope and then backed off a bit.
