Whats it cost to re-chrome rims?

I like my rims.

My rims are pretty haggard.

I dont want them to be haggard.

Should i buy another set, or get them refinished?

prolly cost more than they are worth. Im sure the de-chroming and cleaning process is quite involved!

i worked in a crome plateing place about 10 years ago and back then it was not worth it, some times 2x what thay cost, but thangs may have changed

re-chroming is mostly left to the hard to find parts of OLD cars..

okay, thanks for the input.

since im getting new rims, now i gotta decide if i wanna go chrome or not. I only get to drive my truck from august-may (no summer), and the winters are pretty rough...

Waste IMO.

I think you should paint your truck flat black, smoke your head lights / tail lights, and get Police Interceptor rims like that other guy in flat black.

It'd be DOPE.

i've thought about this, but paint jobs are expensive, and i dont want a half *** one.

just for comparison sake, i was quoted $850 to chrome 2 of these rims. luckily i found a set someone had already done for much cheaper.
