Backup cam issue.

I just got a backup cam and when i hooked it up to my truck it was black and white. I went in the house and hooked it up to my TV and it became color. What would cause this? It is supposed to be a color backup cam. Same power source was used for in truck and in house. A 9v battery

What kind of screen/HU is it connected to?

Are you connecting it in the car wired, or wireless?

It was in the day time.
