whats going on?????

ive recently hooked up my front system and im having a problem. i have a rf 300x on my 6x9's and 4x6's. i also have a audiocontrol 4.1 hooked to the system. the problem im having is that every 10 minutes i'd say, it seems like something clips and the 4.1 goes off. the system is like this.......head unit to main input of 4.1, then rca's from 300x to the front+rear outputs of 4.1. i bought the 4.1 used but i went to audiocontrol's website to make sure i had everything ran correctly and i did......so whats going on?????

It turns off no matter where the volume is?

Where are the HU and audiocontrol grounded? Are the connections tight?

ive got it grounded coming out of the stereo harness, i spliced into the radio ground wire and connections are very tight....im kinda new to this!!!

i'd suggest making new grounds for both......see if that helps at all.....
