Whats goin on here?

Ive got a pdx-4.100 and a kac-9102d for a total of 1250 watts rms. At 75% efficiency thats 119 amps. I am using the kicker 1/0 wiring kit with a 100 amp fuse. Why isnt it blowing the fuse? Ive listened to it for 20 min at a time at max volume (i set my gains using a multimeter at max volume). So why isnt the fuse blowing? Just doesnt make sense....

cause music is dynamic. play a test tone at full tilt and it MIGHT blow. i would not recommend it though. i have 1200 watts rms on an 80 amp fuse and i don't expect to blow it.

There are a ton of reasons why the fuse isn't blowing and some of them were mentioned here. Just because you set your gains with a multimeter does NOT mean that you will be putting out full RMS at max volume or whatever volume you set the gains to. Impedance rise, actual efficiency, musical content, and the fuse tolerance all will come into play.
