Whats better

Rockford Fosgate or MTX, what has the overall best line of woofers . I say R.F just because i have seen more of there stuff than MTX. What do u guys think.

I'd actually say MTX. I've heard Stage 1 R.F.'s and IMHO they sounded like crap, where the 7500 and 8500's actually sound decent. R.F. doesn't have a sub that compares to the 9500 at all.

Hands down go with the mtx. Rockford doesnt even compare. Want some comparisons go to mtx's website and you can get side by side comparisons of mtx's line versus rockfords for output capabilities.

i see mtx and RF 50/50 in the few shops i looked thru. i say mtx has the leg up with thunderform vehicle specific enclosures. good tradeoff of thump and space for cargo/passengers, and usually stealthy in most vehicles.

I have heard the T3's from Rockford are pretty good.. Havent heard any myself though so I really cant compare them.. MTX does make some decent subs.. 9500 is supposed to be a beast.. Guess ill have to go with MTX..

Id have to go with MTX. Some of Rockford stuff isn't impressive at all. They have went downhill so I've heard.

definately not RF's newer stuff... they **** nowadays... find some ols chool RF's and you got something there... stick with MTX they make some decent stuff.

10 years ago I would have said the exact opposite, but Rockford has slacked and MTX actually stepped up.

Power HX2's > RFL's.

I guess the RFL's were never really too successful. Beefy driver, though.

I think the RFL's were more of a science project.....

The shop I bought my 9500 from had a pair of them, I thought they were cool, but wasn't overly impressed.
