Whats a good price on a RE 12.1?

First off, i dont know if this is the right section to post, so if its not please move it.

I am going to be finishing off my system tomorrow and I know some one who is selling a RE 12.1. It is used and im just wondering what a good price to pay for it is.

And this is kind of off topic, but how many wats will it probably put out? He said 1400-1500.

i think new they were around $400, dont think theyre making them anymore so i wouldnt be suprised if someone was asking OVER $400

Thats what i said. The only good thing about them is you can run 2 at 2600 wats at 2 ohms, but thats still expensive.

man id pick up an orion 2500 for around that price. isnt that a newer version of the 35.1 but weaker? why not look for the 35.1s?
