What's a good box for and HX2?

I'm currently using a 1.25ft cubed ported Q-logic box. I was told to make one 2ft cubed and tuned to 30-35hz. I have no experience making boxes, but I wouldn't be afraid to try, so what do you guy's think is a good box? Please be as specific as possible, and try to make it easy to understand (kinda new). Thanks
