What's a good battery to power my system?

I have a Kicker ZX 750.1 amp pushing 2 Kicker CVR 12s in a 1996 Camry. I'm running the stock 80 amp alternator. I had some problems with my subs cutting out and my amp protection light going on when using my car's high beams, car charger, etc. I got my car checked and the meter that checked my battery said I have a bad battery. My current battery is a Everstart 630 cranking amps/525 cold cranking amps. What's a good battery to buy (for under the hood) and how many cranking amps should I get? I'm looking into Optima Yellow Tops. Any suggestions?

Yellow top would be a god battery. Kinetic are also good. I did not know you wanted it for under the hood.

1200 watt rms pushing two 12'' subs.

Alt was 90A stock.

I bought a D34/78 Yellow top at http://www.1st-optima-batteries.com/ for $190.

The voltage drop down to about 11.6 volts when I tested the song called white girl (slowed) after 1 hour of bumping music.

A few days later, I did "The Big 3" and my voltage is at 14.6 volts with engine on and on music i tested again with same song and it only drop down to 12.6 volts or so.

Normal music it stays around 13 volts and higher though.

You need to do the big 3 upgrade.

I don't see how you're having problems with your stock alt and battery. My stock electrical was doing fine on normal bass songs at 1200 watts rms.

Yeah I have a bad battery and I think that's why my subs cut out and protection light on amp goes on when I use my high beams, heater, defrost, and other car accessories. So I plan on getting an Optima Yellow Top D35 with 810 crank amps and 650 cold crank amps and doing the big three.

I have a 98 camry. Running stock electrical, but I don't have any real problems yet. I had a JL 1000/1 with gains all the way up, and no cutting out. My voltage would drop like crazy on full tilt though.. around 10-11 volts. I'm putting in a yellow top tomorrow evening, and will see how that works out, if you'd like to wait and hear how it goes, I'll post here tomorrow. I'm upgrading to an AQ2200D soon though, so a HO alternator is going to needed. Most likely getting that next month, 200amp alternator for about $350 which is dealer pricing.

Also considering doing the big 3 next week, but looking at the wiring, the camry is a bit tricky. It has special connectors from the alternator to battery ect. If you guys have pics of how you did it please post.
