what's a good amp for these 15" KICKER 06CVX154 Dual 4ohm 2000W subs?

jsut keep the price range around 300$.. don't go to $400 range

i was looking at a ROCKFORD FOSGATE T10001BD MONO-Channel 1000W AMP but that's $430.. i can't afford that

help me out! thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

Audioque 2200d($389) or if you want to go cheaper 1200d($249)
i couldn't find any Audioque amps online //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Look at your RMS wattage of them and match that up with an amp, I think those can handle 750 RMS each so 1500 RMS combined. Hifonics amps are relatively inexpensive and perform decent. Check out this one below.

the subs are 1000w rms each so i'd need to find an amp that gives out 2000w rms?

I just bought a PA BAMF 2001/D:

The manuals say that this one will do 2200W@1ohm:

and this one will do 3200W@1ohm:

I'd go with the bigger one if I were you, just to be on the safe side. It looks like they build them pretty well, but if it's still within your budget then better safe than sorry.

I wouldnt go with Power Acoustic, they wont put out nearly as much as they say they do. 2x40amp fuses=1152watts at 100% efficency which it isnt, so figure 80% of that is 921w on a perfect electrical system. My KX550w amp had 2x35 amp fuses and did a little over 700w on the birth sheet. youd probably be dissapointed running 2x1000w subs with an amp like that

even though i have very little brain smarts to understand what that is.. i just want something that would get the most out of those subs you know

so what about Kole Audio KX15500D?

http://www.millionbuy.com/kolkx15500d.html

it's a 3200 W RMS x 1 CH @ 1-ohms

yes or no?

So how does this Arc Audio amp put out 1000W with only 60A of current?:

actually... 5 40amp fuses, so at 80% efficiency that is approx 2000w... That's also with 12.4v
