Yea I'm definetly a trustworthy guy, I'm just trying to give you an idea of what kind of sound system you can achieve for a grand but even if that's not obtainable we can still build you a nice system. First off your set on a fi ssd, so that's a good choice. Second if you like that pioneer you can access it from the link I gave you, techronics says that have it in stock. I actually bought a qsd 213 component set for my dad from techronics and it came with a 2 year warranty and shipped in 2 days. Also amazon.com has them for maybe a couple dollars cheaper, just type in pioneer premier in the search menu and pages of nice pioneer hu's will come up. I've also bought from amazom, and it's quick and easy and the products arrived within a couple days. Third, I would get a nice amp ( don't skimp and get a cheap one) it just wouldn't make any sense. Not saying you have to go out and buy a really expensive one but don't get too cheap of one either. I'm not sure how many watts the fi ssd handles so I'm not sure what size amp you'll need.

sweet! that diagram helped a lot, i need a 1ohm amp. (whatever the hell that means. lol) thanks man, im sure you understand what i mean about trust. i think i might be able to get a grand system, but i would rather not test it, and get a **** good system for between 500-1000. i was gonna ask someone that also, where the best place is to get all this. my buddy said ebay, but im like every other skeptic, i just dont really trust it... what brand amp would you suggest? that arc?

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19319. I trust buying from these guys. Here's a perfect amp for the fi ssd. It's rated at 750 watts rms but it'll actually probably do at least 900 rms. I had a kicker zr360 once that was supposed to do 360 watts rms and the sheet that came with the amp rated it at 541 watts rms so kicker amps are pretty underrated. I'll check to see if onlinecarstereo.com has that pioneer cd player or a nice kenwood and if techronics.com had that kicker amp any cheaper.

http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=8396. Here's the kicker 750.1 for a few dollars cheaper. Like I said I've personally dealt with techronics before and they sent the item I bought in 2 days.lol about the shut up thing, it's just I'm in the same boat casey's in putting together a system and I've researched car audio for the last 3 monthes none stop so I figured I'd help him out.
Honestly, if I wasn't selling it today, because I desperately need the cash, I was actually selling mine for about $150.

Dropping it off to a friend for a $100, though, as I owe someone money -.-
