What y'all think about setup so far........

I'm new to this site so dont get mad if this is a dumb question. I'm deployed right now and I'm changing out the system in my car, so far I've put an Eclipse 8554 headunit in it and some FocalV2 comps in the front and some Eclipse SA8394 6x9's in the back. I plan on getting a JL Audio 300/4 amp for that, okay but I haven't changed out my subwoofers yet. I've been thinking about getting 2 12w6v2's in a sealed box but I don't know if they drown out the inside speakers and that's what I'm trying to avoid. I want loud good sounding subs and I hear those are the best subs out right now as far as SQL and SPL but I'm not trying to drown out the music. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I should do, should I get 2 or should I get something different or whatever y'all think might be a good SQL setup. Oh and I was told I should get 2 500/1 amps for the subs, they said something about the power and that I shouldn't have to upgrade my charging system if I get 2 500/1's instead of a 1000/1. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

I'm sure you were told this by shops or a friend. I would like to point out those are great choices on equipment. And you are going to pay a hefty penny on all of that. If you are willing to explore other options there are many of Online audio companys that would impress anyone.

As for the W6v2's overpowering your comps. Sealed it will not happen. As long as you do amp them in the future.

Here are a couple Internet based brands worth of being mentioned.

http://www.soundsplinter.com

http://www.adireaudio.com

http://www.ascendantaudio.com

http://www.edesignaudio.com

These companys offer a very very good product for far much less money. Check them out.

yeah just to kinda help you out if youve never seen those internet brands.. thr RE SE is very similar to the W6v2.. as would be the RL-p from soundsplinter and OV.2 from elemental designs.

adrie and ascendant make great subs as well but youd prolly look into a single sub setup for those . for adire id would check out the brahma and ascendant check out the avalanche. but the problem is both of those companies might be pretty tough to actuqally get your hands on a product. theyre in the process of redoing their product lines.

aldo look at image dynamics. idmax is supposed to be a great woofer. but all the subs mentioned before are awesome if you want to save a little money from the W6v2s.

definatly amp your speakers, sealed will yield great SQ, and a pair of 12's will get you some nice SPL as well.

the RL-P from soundsplinter is a good choice to compare to the w6v2, but if you are waiting, and it gets released before you come back, take a look at the RL-S thats comming out soon. compare to the w7 - but its a good chunk of change.

but your above ideas should be sweet. and your existing equipment is quality //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
