Hurtin' feelings errrday.
I purchased a nice wire shelving which I was in the market for and spotted the one from A City Discount on Ebay and clicked on the buy it now button. It states on their site that the items/products ship between 5-10 shipping business days, 10 being the busiest, which I have no problem with. Since I live in Everett and work in Redmond and I go through Woodinville, which is where IRSG is, the manufacurer for A City Discount, I figured it shouldn't take long to have my shelving arrive to me. I guess I was wrong. On April 24th my wife called and left a message with the person in charge of shipping namely Carlina. I too left a message to her voicemail and to this day never heard from her. On the 27th I called and tried to talk with someone about my order and was not able to speak with anyone. The receptionist told me that they were having power outages and that was affecting my order. By then the 10 business days have passed and should have nothing to do with my order.Therefor I called IRSG on friday 28th and spoke with Ken in Woodinville plant and was told that my product was sitting there and was just waiting for approval from A City Discount. I received an email from A City Discount on 5/3/06 that my product will ship within 2-3 business days. Till this day, I still have not received a call from anyone at A City Discount. I left my cell phone number and my home number. It was impossible to speak with a live person. My wife had to call at 7:00 am to get to speak with a live person and then once again I was transfered to Carlina's voice mail. She called back and waited on hold for about 10-20 min to speak with Peter @ extension 113. He was the only person that was able to give me an answer that the product had shipped out and called me back to tell me that it delivered on monday 5/8/06. This is just a fine example of poor customer service. It was very difficult to actually talk to a live person to resolve this issue. Needless to say, I wasn't very pleasant with the few people I barely talked to. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
